Tear tapes (also known as cut tapes) are essential to ensure ease of opening of film packaging.

Opening of rice ball packaging
Separate packaging of rice and seaweed makes it possible to wrap the rice ball with a crisp seaweed sheet.
This innovative packaging design requires a tear tape which tears the outer film in the vertical direction.
Opening of chocolate sweets packaging
An exterior film is required to maintain the quality of the content. Most packaging is known as “caramel packaging,” which is airtight and difficult to open.
Tear tapes compensate for the drawback.

Eco-friendly tapes

Adhesion method
Heat-activated type
One side of the polyester film is coated with an adhesive, such as a hotmelt adhesive.
This type is applicable to a wide range of general packaging materials, including OPP wrappers.
Pressure-activated type
One side of the film is coated with an adhesive.
This self-adhesive type generates minimal wrinkles and provides a neat finish in appearance.
